The Project

We were approached by the co-owners of The Treat Kitchen to develop a brand for their new confectionery shop based in Nottingham.

The concept behind The Treat Kitchen is a simple one - great sweets and luxury chocolate, home made fudge and gourmet jelly beans, all presented in 'up-cycling' packaging including mini milk bottles with screw top lids and french style jam jars.

To convey this ethos in the brand, the requirement for a retro style was established during the initial project discovery, whilst at all times avoiding the 'ye olde sweet shope' feel.

The new logo had to tick many boxes, including business stationery, shop signage, and most of all - the product labelling.

A pastel pallet combined with hand drawn typography and a retro 'badge motif' perfectly bring together the new Treat Kitchen brand.

This is rounded off with a great strap line that fully portrays the company ideology.

Opening event flyers and invitations were designed and printed by us, followed by business stationery and marketing material.
